Registration Experience Redesign
imagine Tours & Travel's pre-existing online registration experience contained a large amount of important traveler, tour, rooming, flight, upgrade, and payment information, but the interface made that information difficult to navigate and understand.
I redesigned the registration experience to create a clearer visual hierarchy, simplify the registration flow, and help travelers understand where they were in the process and what they needed to do next.

WEB DESIGN
The existing registration system had grown into a functional but visually complex experience. Long forms stretched across the screen, related information wasn't always clearly grouped, progress through registration was difficult to understand at a glance, and important actions competed with surrounding content.
The goal of the redesign was to reduce that visual complexity while preserving the substantial amount of information required to register travelers for a tour.
I started with the Tour Search; before there was a less focused layout requiring users to work harder to understand where to begin. The redesigned page creates a clear starting point with a simplified search experience, stronger visual hierarchy, and a prominent call to action that guides users directly into the registration process.

SELECT A TOUR
Before
The original page presented tour options in a dense, table-style layout, making it harder to quickly scan tour details and distinguish between available departures.
After
The redesigned page organizes each tour into a clear, easy-to-scan card with stronger visual hierarchy, key trip details, and a prominent selection action—making it easier for travelers to confidently choose the correct tour.
Traveler Information
Before
A functional system with a high visual and cognitive load:
Extremely wide form layout
Limited grouping of related information
Weak progress visibility
Dense presentation of options
Honestly hurt my eyes to try to read
After
A guided, easy-to-navigate registration experience:
Six-step registration journey
Clear field grouping
Registration summary that follows the user through the process and updates in real time
Improved spacing and hierarchy
Color and font choices that are easier to read
Rooming Selection
Before
Rooming options were presented in a separate modal window that interrupted the registration flow.
After
I redesigned rooming as a dedicated step, keeping related choices together and allowing travelers to manage rooms within the primary registration interface.
